Mediators training courses

 

The course organized by FDC is authorized by Decision 83/04.11.2007 and covers a total of 84 hours of actual training (6 hours per day, whereupon shall add breaks, daily program 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM) and finalized with an exam organized together with Mediation Council.

The course organized by FDC is distributed in 3 modules. The contents of modules and the price is given in the table bellow:

Examination

  1. Notation along the course (participation + tests)
  2. Writing (grid test) – 2 hours
  3. Oral (situational) – 0.5 ore/ graduate
  550 RON
The payment is at least 3 days before the start of each module.

*The payment shall be made in the account RO12 BTRL 0440 1205 D490 57XX, opened at Transilvania Bank SA, filial Obor, for Foundation for Democratic Change (the tax bill is emitted on the payer’s name, corresponding to the statement of bank account).
A share of tax is paid toward Mediation Council.

ATTENTION!
Where the payment is made for a company account, please specify on the payment order the name of the person for witch the payment is made, as well as the identity card of the person.

The modular structure of the course allows that, where you can’t participate at one of the modules on grounds of force majeure, you can continue that module in next series.
The mediator training shall be finalized with an examination organized by the provider in collaboration with Mediation Council, in maximum 90 days from the begining of the first module.

The examination is announced and approved by Mediation Council.
The participation at examination can be made only after the graduation of the 3 modules.
The participation at examination must be announced and shall be charged a separte tax, whereby is deducted the share of tax for Mediation Council.

The trainers:

According to Mediator’s Training Standard, published in The Official Gazette of Romania, in October 2007, the trainers are accredited for Mediation Council because they satisfies the condition to be authorized mediators with minimum 3 years experience in mediation and minimum 25 cases of mediating.

Mediators

Our team of mediators has 11 years of experience in the application of alternative dispute resolution methods, including mediation, both within group disputes and interpersonal ones. The partnership between FDC and the General Inspectorate of Romanian Police had provided to FDC's team, access to a rich and diverse case law.
