Starting October 17, FDC organizes a new initial training course of mediators

Foundation for Democratic Changes (FDC) is pleased to invite you to attend the initial mediation training course held in Bucharest, Ion Movilă Street, No. 8, Sector 2.

The course is starting on October 17, 2011. It is divided into three modules as follows:
Module I (5 days): Theory and Conflict Analysis, Alternative disputes resolution, The legal frame and the mediatorprofession, Module II (5 days): Mediation, Communication and process; Module III (4 days): Mediation, Ethics and Reformulation

The Graduation exam is in two weeks after completing the course and it consists of: Written test (about 2h), an Oral exam and a note given for a paper work.

Attending the courseis3660 lei and it can be payed in installments, as it follows: Module I - 1200 lei, Module II - 1200 Lei, Module III - 960 lei and examination fee - 300 lei.

The Courses run by the FDC are authorized by the Mediation Council.

A graduate of the Mediation Training Program will be able to:
• consider any type of conflict;
• assess the possibility of its resolution through mediation or other alternative methods;
• communicate effectively and facilitate a constructive dialogue;
• identify and apply appropriate methods of consensus building, including mediation;
• to develop the skills to organize and conduct business as a mediator, according to Law 192/2006 on mediation and the organizing of the mediatorprofession.

It is recommended that persons participating in these training programs have university level training (completedstudies), work experience of at least three years, developed communication skills and willingness to apply practical knowledge and skills acquired through training courses.

Graduation allows you to fulfill the priovision set at letter f) art. 7 of Law 192/2006, thus, giving you the opportunity to be authorize as a mediator, meeting all the conditions laid down in Article 7.
